Decoupling membrane and underfloor heating
The MAGNUM Decoupling concept is a sophisticated underfloor heating system that ensures precise heat distribution in every room. Furthermore, a decoupling mat provides additional protection by absorbing movement between the subfloor and the floor finish.
This system offers an efficient solution for spaces where traditional underfloor heating is not feasible. Furthermore, the decoupling mat protects against moisture ingress and prevents cracks in the subfloor from damaging the floor finish. Thanks to its low installation height, the system is suitable for both new builds and renovation projects.
Complete sets
Available as a complete set covering 1.5 to 7.5 m² with an MRC2 Wi-Fi thermostat, or as individual components for larger areas.
Easy installation
The MAGNUM Decoupling Cable (MDC) is clamped into the membrane and immediately encapsulated with tile adhesive or levelling mortar, ensuring efficient heat transfer.
Decoupling mats are ideal for use on solid, level and flat wooden and concrete subfloors and ensure a more durable, resilient tile installation by minimising the risk of damage caused by structural movements or minor floor irregularities.
Variable power output
One of the key features of this system is its variable power output, ranging from 150 W to 113 W per m², depending on the cable spacing used. This enables precise temperature control, adapting to the room’s varying requirements and improving energy efficiency.
