The MAGNUM Remote Control 2 (MRC2) is the most advanced smart Wi-Fi thermostat on the market. It features a larger display and an intuitive user interface that is easy to operate via the screen or the accompanying app. The thermostat features an energy-saving ECO mode with a presence sensor and supports software updates via Wi-Fi, ensuring it always remains up to date.
Smartly arranged
The MRC2 calculates the heating time itself. All you need to do is enter the times when the floor needs to be warm. It gradually learns the ideal heating time for the floor and automatically adjusts its programme. So if you set the floor to 23°C at 7 am, the thermostat takes care of the rest.
Wooden floors
The MRC2 also has a function for wooden floors that limits the temperature to 28°C. This makes the MRC2 the perfect and safe solution for any electric underfloor heating system.
Supplied as standard with each set
The MRC2 is supplied as standard with every MAGNUM Mat, Decoupling system, Cable and Foil underfloor heating kit, including a built-in room sensor and floor sensor (12K). Thanks to its clever design, this flush-mounted thermostat fits virtually any single or multiple switchgear. Both the Polar White (RAL9010) and Graphite Black (RAL9011) versions can be supplied with the set.

3 in 1 operation
The MRC2 is easy to operate via the touchscreen on the thermostat itself. You can also control it remotely using your smartphone via the app, which is available for both iOS and Android. The thermostat is also compatible with Google and Amazon voice assistants. This means you can adjust the temperature using your voice or ask what the current floor temperature is. Ideal if, for example, you’re in the car and can’t use your phone manually.
The MRC2 can also be automated using Siri Shortcuts. For example, you can use your location or a custom voice command to instruct the thermostat to set itself to a specific temperature, switch on frost protection mode when the (local) outdoor temperature is low, or activate holiday mode if you’re away from home for a few days. The possibilities are endless.
